English Diagnostic Test
1. Who is required to take the English Diagnostic Test?
Once you have submitted your application, we will check if you are eligible. If you meet the basic eligibility criteria, you will have to take the TOEFL ITP Diagnostic Test. There is no fee for taking the test.
2. When do I need to start the registration process for the English Diagnostic Test?
You can start the registration process for the English Diagnostic Test as soon as you receive notification that you are invited to take the test.
3. Can I retake the English Diagnostic Test if I do not get the required score?
The applicant only has one chance to take the English Diagnostic Test.
4. What is the required minimum score to pass the English Diagnostic Test?
The required score is different depending on the program/degree you apply for.
5. Do I need to take the English diagnostic test if I have a valid and official English test result like IELTS or TOEFL?
Yes. If you are eligible and submit all the required documents, you will have to take the TOEFL ITP Diagnostic Test even if you have a valid and official English test result.
6. Can I take the English Diagnostic Test online?
Yes, the system we use is an online testing system.
7. How can I prepare for the English Diagnostic Test?
DISP will provide some sample documents for the English Diagnostic Test. You can study using TOEFL ITP study materials.
8. Does DISP provide support for applicants with disabilities?
Yes. If you have a disability, please include it in your application and the DISP program team will contact you to understand your needs.
